And our two awesome parents score again…..although not with our permission this time. LOL!
Rayna’s last heat was March of 2021, which we intentionally skipped. Therein, her next heat would fall around September of 2021. As my husband was at the kennel grooming our soon to be moms one day, I glanced out of our dining room french doors and noticed a Silver and White Merle Standard Poodle that appeared to be well along in her pregnancy! The Merle girls we had expecting were Brown & White, so I was a bit confused. After texting my husband, he ordered me over to the kennel. And I was right! Rayna appeared to be well along and ready to pop about the same time as our other two girls, Rona and Peaches (GMD).
Meanwhile, as many are aware, I had my accident resulting in a head injury on 10/1/2021. Even while at the trauma center with me, my husband was watching Rayna on the security camera with his phone. Once the doctor said they would be admitting me for the night for further observation, my husband politely dismissed himself to head home and tend to Rayna. Priorties….LOL! To be honest, he was headed where I wanted him to be. I was in good hands at Ruby Memorial.
I’m happy to say at the posting of these photos, I am feeling much better and on the mend. I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!
